What steps can young men take now to help them stay healthy in later life?

e.g sexual health, hairloss, erectile disfunction, impotence, back trouble, knee's, cartilage, prostate, mental health etc.

Prevention is the best cure after all.
Lets not forget cholesterol and heart disease!!

A proper diet, and an exercise program. Easier to stay in shape than to get into it.

Drink alcohol in moderation, get plenty of exercise, dont smoke, dont do drugs, eat plenty of fruit and veg, dont eat too much fatty food, keep takeaways to one a week, practice safe sex, talk about worries (dont bottle them up), have regular dental check ups, dont put off seeing the doctor if something isn. t right. Play sport or do yoga – something to destress at least twice a week. Watch your posture and be careful how you lift and carry things. Dont take unnecessary risks, smile a lot and have a good laugh every day.

I highly recommend taking the Real Age Test. It asks you a bunch of questions and shows the years you’ll lose for not doing certain things. I’ll include the link below:

Stay in shape. As a heart and stroke patient I can attest to the problems that occur when you don’t. I’ve spent the last 12 years getting back in shape. Now I’m performing like I did at 32 years old. By the way, I’m 57.

eat right and exercise. that is one of the most basic things we should all do. it keeps your weight in control, it keeps fats from building up in your system and is just good all around. it doesnt mean you wont have anything go wrong, but it has been shown to reduce the chances.

I suggest doing some exercises that get the legs moving, such as walking, jogging, running, swimming or bike riding.
These exercises that really get your heart pumping will burn the weight off quickly.

I like push ups, yoga stretches, pull ups, crunches, curl ups, leg stretches, calf raises, and squats as far as being good toning exercises that use no equipment and cost zero money to perform.

I like taking some dumbbells and doing some easy bicep curls, military presses, and lateral raises.

I think diet is important also and try to eat healthy home-cooked meals with lots of vegetables in them.

I try to stay away from the pop and sugar, candy, white flour products, and fast food.

I try to get a good night’s sleep each night.

    1. Don’t drink. Alcohol gives a buzz, but at a price. Over time, it causes sunken eyes, protruding belly, brain damage and a sour, blaming, self-pitying disposition.

    2. Don’t smoke. Cigarettes ruin your skin, turning it to withered yellowish leather. Of course, it also causes cancer.

    3. Exercise. Your body is an organic machine designed for use, not abuse. Just an ordinary walk provides the work-out a body needs to function efficiently. No steroids.

    4. Everything in moderation. Never leave the dining table without wanting to eat more.

    5. Learn to express anger reasonably. Don’t bottle anger in, because it warps your judgment and can actually cause cancer, particularly rectal cancer. But don’t rage at others and alienate them, either. Express your grievance, then work together with others to find a compromise.

    6. Get a true lover, not just a bang buddy. Human beings are designed to love and be loved. Without one, life is unfulfilling.

    7. Have a creative purpose in life. Make the world better in some way, even in a small way, using your talents. This is an ingredient for happiness, which isn’t acquired or applied on the outside, but glows from within from self-acceptance and a sense of achievement.
